At the same time, overreliance on consumer debt may carry future risk, especially as the region’s credit infrastructure continues to evolve.

Taken together, these shifts suggest a retail environment that is becoming more deliberate and value-conscious. For brands, developers, and investors, this is less of a threat than a signal.
