The Emirates Office Tower and the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel are both situated within the Emirates Towers compound on Sheikh Zayed Road, which was constructed by the Al Ghurair Investment Group in 1999. This compound comprises of two towers - the Emirates Office Tower and the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel. While the hotel tower is designed for hospitality purposes, the Emirates Office Tower is dedicated to commercial office space. The two towers are connected by a two-story shopping centre named The Boulevard, which was designed by Hazel W.S. Wong. The Emirates Office Tower spreads across 56 stories and offers 1,100,404 square feet of office space, while the hotel building stands at 54 floors.

Sheikh Zayed Road is a prominent expressway in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, named in honour of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the former President of the UAE. This thoroughfare serves as a crucial transportation artery of the city, running parallel to the coastline and interlinking several of Dubai's significant commercial, residential, and tourist destinations. SZR is a multi-lane highway that extends over approximately 55 kilometres, from the Dubai World Trade Center in the north to the Jebel Ali Free Zone in the south.

The road is flanked by a multitude of towering skyscrapers, high-end hotels, upscale shopping complexes, and luxurious residential buildings, making it an exclusive and desirable locale in the city. Prominent landmarks situated along Sheikh Zayed Road include the world-renowned Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Museum of the Future, Emirates Towers, DIFC, and Dubai World Trade Centre, among others.
